The FoA game is an open educational resource with “onboarding” demos, which constitute 3 fully scripted gameplay lessons and two teacher-designed lessons connected to their learning goals. Game that relies on volunteers with creative writing, art, design, coding, and engineering backgrounds to co-design game elements and assets and build new quests. This paper aims to investigate the players' experience with one of three teachers (Grade 11 Visual Art, Grade 11/12 Interdisciplinary Design, and G7 English Class) who facilitated the FoA game in their classroom in 2024. Based on the player's feedback, the next iteration of the FoA game will focus on giving students more agency and control based on their designated interest areas that connect social-political issues in their subject learning.
